QA Site

QA Site is our managed solution stack of open source applications. We will do our best to tailor it to meet your needs and preferences. We have 4 different deployment options for your QA site:

• QA Site Virtual Server
  
  QA Site VS is hosted on a secure Xen virtual server with proven enterprise CentOS Linux. Several virtual servers may be hosted on one machine, allowing resource sharing, but you always have a dedicated amount of memory, cpu, and disk space, and a fast internet connection. Each VS has it's own IP address and is safely isolated from other VS accounts.
  
  Starting at $75/month.
  
  
• QA Site Dedicated Server
  
  QA Site DS is a dedicated server co-located at a tier 1 facility. It uses CentOS Linux and is a similar configuration to our VS account, only with more horsepower. If you run a Java application server, we recommend a DS account.
  
  Starting at $300/month.
  
  
• QA Site Onsite
  
  QA Site Onsite is deployed within your organization, typically on a dedicated server, but we can customize it to run on whatever your existing systems: Linux, Windows or Solaris.
  
  Starting at $200/month.
  
  
• QA Site Virtual Appliance
  
  QA Site Virtual Appliance is an evaluation server running on VMWare using RPath Linux. We are working on it now and hope to have it available by mid 2008. A custom QA Site Virtual Appliance can be build to your specifications as well.

Consulting

With 10 years experience in IT organizations large and small, I have a unique perspective on QA. We offer consulting services on a per hour basis. We can arrange billing or you can now pay online through our paypal business account.

Professional Test Staffing

Remote Staffing

With the world increasingly wired (and wireless!), more work can be done remotely than ever before. While telecommute and offshore staffing bring additional overhead and communication challenges, our professional and experienced staff are willing to meet your needs in any way we can. An added benefit of remote staffing is the reduced costs of providing on-site infrastructure and office space.

We do our best to provide local contacts (currently only in Seattle, Washington) to manage and coordinate with you.

On Site Staffing

We realize that sometimes there is no substitute for being there in person. When available (currently only in Cuenca, Ecuador), we can provide on site staff to help your test team, full or part time.

We can work through your HR department and accept W-2, 1099, or corp-to-corp billing.

Web Development & Hosting

One Shore can help you design and develop your web site. Whether you need a basic online presence, content management, e-commerce, or an interactive community, we have the solution for you.

We can provide you with content management through Drupal or Plone, or build a portal to organize and consolidate your diverse web applications and documents.

We use many of the most popular web frameworks to keep your site organized and easy to maintain. We are experienced with the following frameworks: Ruby on Rails, Webwork, Zope, CakePHP, PHPonTrax

The same secure VPS servers that we use to host QA sites are used for our web hosting clients, and when dedicated servers with Java Application Servers and Databases are needed, we can expand your web presence.
